Andrew's score for The Laramie Project to be used in Australia and internationally in the latest Laramie Epilogue

By: admin on 12/10/2009

Andrew is most pleased that some of his score, written for an Australian production of The Laramie Project produced in 2005,  will be used on October 12th and 13th by a number of theatre companies involved in the worldwide production of The Laramie Project 10 Years Later event. His music will be used by the Melbourne production, to be staged by Red Stitch Theatre company, by the Hagley Theatre Company in Christchurch, New Zealand, and in two locations in the United States - Dallas, Texas, where the play is being put on by the Dallas Theater Center, and in Los Angeles, California, during the reading produced by Grand Performances.

Andrew is honoured to be involved with all of these productions in what will be an historic event, as The Laramie Project 10 Years On is produced simultaneously by over 150 theatre companies across the world. In the words of Tectonic, this update to the play looks at how the rural community of Laramie, Wyoming has changed 10 years after the murder of gay student, Matthew Shepard.
